Happy Monday! One of the most used color palettes we have seen in the past year has been White with Pink and Black accents. I know of two parties coming up this year where these colors are being used. But there are many ways of using them. One of the most popular is the zebra print with pink back up but that's a bit too much for a wedding. Fortunately there are options for the Bride who wants this color theme!
These totally elegant invitations from Zazzle fit the theme perfectly while keeping the tone classic wedding.

You can also use pink and white invitations and use the black ink for your accent. This is an easy way not to have to pay any extra for ink color but still fit your color palette!

Black is a color that overwhelms everything else so you will want to keep it an accent color for your ceremony. In this case the runner provides the black accent.
It's really easy to add black to your pink and white color theme with ribbons! Just a simple ribbon tied around the Bridesmaids pink dresses and another one around the waist of the Bride carrying pink flowers sets the color palette very elegantly.
The guys can get in on the act too! Have your florist use a pale pink flower such as these orchids and then wrap them with black ribbon and stripe with white. Gorgeous!
If your Groom is a bit more daring have him wear a pale pink tie with black polka dots! What a nice accent to his black tuxedo!

There are several ways to put your colors all together for your reception that doesn't scream Teen Party. White vases, pink flowers with black Table Numbers works very well!
If you do want to punch up the black accent then use white  tablecloths, black plates and pale pink napkins. We love little touch of Bling in the napkin ring!
There are two distinctly different ways to go with your overall table look for your reception. You can choose a more classic wedding white look and accent with your pink with touches of black here or there and keep the feeling "light".
Or you can go very dramatic and use black as your base color with an overlay that incorporates your white and then accents of pink in the chair sashes, the napkins and favors.
There are lots and lots of ways to go with favors so we are just going to spotlight two. Candy bars are a big thing right now but why not make yours more elegant. The customized paper bags keep it classically wedding while the black vases brings in your accent color and the pink candy finishes your color palette!
You can set out favors at each place setting or designate a table for them. We love this little sign that not only asks the guests to take one home with them but tells them what is inside!
Finally there is cake. This one from Cat's Cakes is a wonderful modern twist on the classic Wedding Cake. Shades of pink and white in a geometric pattern are given a more feminine touch with the mini red hearts and petite black bows. The curly-q topper sets if off for your classically beautiful day but with a modern twist!

Next week we will bring you a Spring Wedding. The Groundhog promised Spring in 6 weeks so we are going to take that as a hint to give you all some great Spring Wedding Party Plans!
